Encapsulation & Laminating Services
Laminating & Encapsulation can be done giving an impressive finish to any project or simply providing a permanent protective covering for your valuable documents.
Trade usage has often resulted in Encapsulating being referred to as Laminating.
Encapsulation is always double sided leaving a 2mm ‘lip’ around each document or poster whereas Lamination needs to be done after printing, one side at a time, before the printed material is trimmed. With laminating the finished product is exactly the same size as the finished item.
We offer Encapsulation from credit card size pouches up to large posters 875 mm in width. The length depends on the size of the material to be laminated. Encapsulation is done using either encapsulating pockets or off the roll. Laminating can only be done off the roll on sheets sizes from RA4 to RA1 on sheets of a minimum thickness of 150gsm.
